Finger Lakes Wine of the Week: Hermann J. Wiemer 2010 Dry Riesling
What is it about Wiemer wines and New York sporting events? They were featured at the US Open tennis tournament in Queens and now they’re being touted by Joe Bastianich, mega wine guy and restaurateur, as the wine to kick off your Super Bowl celebration this weekend.
Whatever the reason, we’re happy to have a bottle of Wiemer anything on the coffee table while we scream and root for the Giants on Sunday. So their 2010 Dry Riesling is our pick for Finger Lakes Wine of the Week.
