Our Spring 2012 Issue, Now Available Everywhere

Wondering who won our Local Heroes contest? Curious about one of the oldest and most successful Finger Lakes wineries that is celebrating a big birthday this year? Scratching your head over what to eat when you visit Syracuse? Or maybe you just need a recipe for all that fresh, green produce you bought at your local farmers’ market. Whatever is going on in your culinary mind, we have something for you in our current issue, on newsstands now.

Our Farmer-at-Large Teresa Vanek pays homage to radishes, those harbingers of spring. Seasonal Cooking columnist Amy Maltzan breaks down a spring chicken for you. Evan Dawson, clearly the best wine writer in the Finger Lakes these days, demystifies Finger Lakes white wine blends. And Red Hot Mama Peggy Haine tells you why you should be making reservations at the Aurora Inn, now.

And that’s just a taste of what you’ll find in this issue. Not to toot our own horns, but the feedback we’re getting from subscribers is that this is our very best issue ever. Go get a copy and see for yourself if we are worthy of that high praise. If we’re not, we promise to try harder in our summer issue.
