Spiced Cider Punch
This cider punch can be made in advance and kept warm in a slow cooker for a long cocktail party or dinner party. To make it kid-friendly, add two tablespoons each of rum and applejack to each adult’s mug just before serving, instead of stirring all the alcohol into the cider. Look for a cider that is made solely of pressed fruit, with no additives or sweetener.
- 8 cups apple cider
- 6 cinnamon sticks
- 2 tablespoons whole cloves
- 2 tablespoons whole allspice berries
- 1/2 cup spiced rum
- 1/2 cup applejack
- Heat cider and spices over low heat until warmed through. Stir in the rum and applejack and serve warm.
