This is it, folks: It’s the last day to vote for your favorite local businesses in the categories of Farm, Restaurant, Food Artisan, Beverage Artisan, Nonprofit and Local Food or Wine Store. Polls close at 11:45pm.
The Local Hero Awards are given to those who offer high quality local products and maintain high standards in their social and environmental practices, food sourcing, regional economic impact, and commitment to promoting a sustainable food system.
The winners will be profiled in our March/April 2015 issue and on our website–but we won’t be announcing the winners until the issue it out! Until then, check out our profiles on last year’s winners.
