Grilled Corn on the Cob

Grilled Corn on the Cob

By Michael Welch

6 ears fresh corn

6 tablespoons butter, room temperature

Salt and pepper to taste

Soak the corn in a tub of cool water for at least 30 minutes while you prepare the grill. Get a medium heat going and place corn directly on the grill, husks and all. Cover and let cook for 10 minutes, rotating the cobs often.

Remove the corn from the grill, cover with a kitchen towel and let sit for 3 to 4 minutes to soften the husks and steam the corn. The corn will be hot so carefully pull back the silk and husks, move to a large platter and enjoy with the butter, salt and pepper.
