Seneca Cookout Cooler Cocktail
A gin cocktail perfect for a summer cookout, picnic or drinks on the patio.
1 half a grapefruit
2 ounces Seneca Drums Gin or McKenzie Reserve Gin
¾ ounces St-Germain elderflower liqueur
½ ounce simple syrup
1 dash salt
Grapefruit twist, for garnish
Grill grapefruit half, flesh-side down, till marked. In a shaker, add juice of the grilled grapefruit half, gin, St-Germain, simple syrup, and salt over ice. Shake until shaker frosts and strain. Serve up in a cocktail glass or on the rocks in a tumbler. Garnish with grapefruit twist.
