Oven Fried French Fries

For those times when you are stuck at home and craving french fries but lacking enough oil to do the job, this recipe will get you through.

Four servings

4 Large Potatoes, long, oval shaped work best
1 tablespoon neutral oil (canola, olive, grapeseed)
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons black pepper
2 teaspoons dried herbs (Oregano, Thyme, Rosemary)

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.

Slice the potatoes lengthwise into slivers. Toss the slivers with all remaining ingredients. Spread the potatoes evenly over a baking sheet.

Cook for 20-25 minutes, flipping the potatoes every 5-10 minutes.

Turn the oven up to broil and cook the potatoes, stirring often, until they reach a desired level of crispiness.

Add additional salt and pepper to taste if needed. Serve hot.
