Polenta Cakes with Lola from Shira Golding Evergreen on Vimeo.
By Shira Evergreen
Ithaca photographer and videographer Shira Evergreen, founder and Director at Uplifted Ithaca, created this video for Laura Nelkin, a local knitwear designer who had a virtual retreat for knitters from around the country. Nelkin decided to make a cooking show part of the retreat with a recipe featuring many locally sourced ingredients. This recipe is polenta cakes with a roasted butternut and red onion topping—a meal that is tasty, wholesome, and adaptable! You can find Nelkin’s work at www.nelkindesigns.com.
