In honor of National Cold Cuts Day on March 3, we are highlighting The Piggery! This popular farm-to-table butcher shop and meat wholesaler is located in Ithaca. Its bountiful meat counter features fresh cuts of pork, beef, and chicken in addition to a variety of charcuterie and deli meats. The Piggery prides itself in partnering with a variety of farms that pasture-raise animals without using antibiotics, hormones, or confinement facilities, according to its website.

These farms include Oak Stone Farm in Fly Creek. The Piggery also gets many dairy, produce and other grocery staples from local farms including Lively Run Goat Dairy in Interlaken and Wide Awake Bakery in Trumansburg.

Edible Finger Lakes featured The Piggery as a 2014 Food Retailer Local Hero.

You can find The Piggery’s wholesale products at stores around the Finger Lakes and at a number of locations in the Northeast! Find a location near you by visting thepiggery.net/pigblog/where-to-find-our-wholesale-products.
