One of the best ways to experience lake life is by pulling up to a lakeside restaurants in your boat or car, or via Water Taxi, and enjoying a delicious meal at the water’s edge, or from a table overlooking the calm, clear waters of Keuka Lake. Experience some of the best views, an authentic lakeside atmosphere, and delicious food at one of our four excellent waterfront restaurants. Each has their own seafood specialties, as well as other signature dishes, and a couple offer live music on weekends.

The Waterfront  

Located about halfway up the west side of the lake, this spot has awesome views of the bluff, a fun outdoor bar, and a large deck for waterfront dining, as well as more secluded indoor options if that’s more your style. Large portions and tasty food make The Waterfront a favorite among locals and tourists.

The Switzerland Inn

Conveniently located near three exceptional wineries on the east side of the lake, The Switz as it’s known to locals and lakers has a fun, casual vibe that carries over into unique food options as well as popular annual events like the Polar Bear Plunge. With exotic dishes featuring kangaroo, calamari and a variety of seafood selections, as well as traditional pub fare, The Switz is popular among families and friends, with something for every palate.

Snug Harbor

Snug Harbor offers true lakeside dining just outside the village of Hammondsport.

When it was built back in the 1890s, present day Snug Harbor was called Ruby Cottage Hotel. Over the years since it has been a private residence, dance hall, lounge, and restaurant which it remains today. If you approach from the water, you get an idea of what it must have been like being ferried on a private steamboat up Keuka Lake to the hotel. Accessible by car or boat and a popular dining spot for locals and tourists, Snug Harbor Restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, including several waterfront tables for a true lakeside dining experience. Lakeside Tavern

With multiple outdoor and indoor seating options and delicious cuisine, this popular restaurant combines the best of tavern and lakeside experiences. With delicious tavern fare like their famous pig wings (succulent BBQ pork shanks), pasta dishes like Asian Noodle Bowl and Frutti de Mare (which are available gluten free), Duck Breast, Rack of Lamb, and house-butchered specials, as well as tasty seafood, salads, and appetizers, it’s easy to see why Lakeside is the go-to spot for locals and vacationers alike.
